Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at BayMark Health Services. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide high-quality patient care in our outpatient clinics, working with patients to overcome opioid use disorder and achieve long-term recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create personalized treatment plans for patients
- Counsel patients on addiction, health education, and medication management
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate effectively with the clinical team
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal treatment outcomes
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program (AANP)
- At least 6 months of experience in Addiction Medicine and Primary Care
- Current licensure in the state of Louisiana
- Knowledge of substance abuse treatment principles and practices
