Job Summary
The Mental Health Therapist provides individual, group and family therapies under the supervision of the Clinical Director and respective counselor supervisor.
This role is responsible for conducting various clinical activities, including diagnostic and assessment procedures, based on qualifications and abilities.
Maintaining a positive and non-judgmental attitude toward clients is essential for this position.
- Conduct daily counseling sessions with clients.
- Perform diagnostic and assessment procedures, as qualified.
- Coordinate clinical activities and monitor care to ensure compliance with agency policies.
- Assist in monitoring client progress and make reports to supervisors as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Counseling or related field.
- LSW, LPC, or LCSW licensure eligibility.
- Experience working with adolescents, teens, and adults with mental health diagnoses preferred.
