Job Summary

About the Role
The successful applicant will work under the supervision of the Clinical Director and respective counselor supervisor, conducting individual, group, and family therapies. This role involves coordinating various clinical activities, performing diagnostic and assessment procedures, and ensuring compliance with agency policies.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct daily individual, group, and/or family counseling sessions with clients.
• Perform various diagnostic and assessment procedures, adhering to ODMH/ODADAS/CARF standards.
• Coordinate various clinical activities, ensuring effective collaboration among team members.
• Assist in monitoring care to ensure compliance with agency policies, making necessary reports to the counselor supervisor and/or Clinical Director as needed.
• Attend regularly scheduled executive committee meetings, actively participating in discussions and decision-making processes.
• Prepare accurate reports on client progress, attending treatment staffing as required.
• Serve on various committees, contributing to Quality Assurance initiatives and potentially chairing select committees at the direction of Leadership and Clinical Director.
• Provide in-service training as assigned, maintaining knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Maintain contact with family members/guardians, referral sources, and authorized outside sources regarding client treatment activities and progress.
• Document caseload and program function accurately, meeting expectations set by the Clinical Director or Counseling Supervisor.
• Engage with representatives from outside agencies, including local Mental Health Boards, potential referral sources, and state agencies, for marketing, survey/audit, or informational purposes as required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in navigating the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, utilizing it effectively to support patient care.
• Assume additional duties as assigned by the Clinical Director or Counseling Supervisor.
