About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at AppleGate Recovery. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans and provide ongoing support and guidance.
About the Team:
You will be joining a team of experienced clinicians, counselors, and administrative staff who share a passion for making a difference in the lives of those struggling with opioid use disorder.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical and mental health needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Provide counseling and health education to patients on substance abuse, addiction, and detoxification.
- Manage medications and provide ongoing support and guidance to patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and status.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program (AANP)
- At least 6 months of experience in addiction medicine and primary care required
- Current licensure in the state of Louisiana
- Drug rehabilitation training/knowledge required
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check
