What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Attendant position at Baymont by Wyndham Logan,Ohio?
We are looking for a thorough housekeeper with excellent cleanliness standards to attend all areas of our facilities. The goal is to enhance customer experience by keeping our facilities in clean and orderly condition. (Weekends are mandatory)
Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all areas to the standard cleanliness within time limits
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Create daily job lists and record all serviced rooms
- Maintain equipment in good condition
- Report on any shortages, damages or security issues
- Handle reasonable guests complaints/requests and inform others when required
- Check stocking levels of all consumables
- Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws
Skills
- Strong ability to pull and push work-related equipment, such as a loaded housekeeping cart over uneven and sloping surfaces
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and pull
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, or kneel for a long period of time
- Ability to manipulate, turn, and grasp objects of different sizes and weights
- Strong hand-eye coordination and motor skills
- Strong ability to follow verbal instructions
- Strong knowledge of cleaning supplies and procedures
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Previous cleaning experience may be an advantage sometimes, but not generally required
