Maitenance worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with a focus on providing excellent customer service. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for addressing maintenance requests, conducting repairs, and ensuring that all equipment is operating efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities, including electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Fabricate and install components as needed to enhance facility operations.
• Conduct residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using logical reasoning and technical skills.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding less experienced staff in maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on communication in English.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems is preferred.
• Ability to perform residential painting tasks as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking abilities.
• Leadership qualities that promote teamwork and collaboration within the maintenance department.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
