Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of hotel rooms, public areas, and amenities. This is an essential role that plays a critical part in maintaining a positive guest experience.
Duties
- Clean and maintain hotel rooms, including bathrooms, living areas, and kitchens to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Restock linens, towels, and toiletries in guest rooms.
- Vacuum, mop, and clean floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks such as dusting, polishing, and scrubbing surfaces.
- Use custodial and housekeeping management skills to effectively manage cleaning supplies, equipment, and schedules.
- Ensure all rooms are thoroughly cleaned and prepared for guest arrival.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns.
- Maintain a positive and welcoming attitude towards guests and colleagues.
- Work in a team environment to achieve cleaning goals and maintain a clean and organized hotel.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality standards is beneficial.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe use.
