We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on commercial spaces.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to enhance the appearance of surfaces.
- Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any damages or necessary repairs to management.
- Execute industrial cleaning tasks as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Provide porter services by moving furniture or equipment as needed for events or maintenance activities.
- Carry out custodial duties efficiently while adhering to established cleaning schedules and protocols.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure effective results while maintaining safety standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is advantageous.
- Experience in industrial cleaning environments is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
