Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Change bed linens and towels according to hotel standards.
• Restock room supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and snacks.
• Ensure all public areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial practices is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and quality service.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
• Good physical stamina; must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management systems or industrial cleaning equipment is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.50 - $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
