Hotel Laundry Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This position is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our hotel environment, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder hotel linens and guest clothing.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established procedures.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed for delicate fabrics or special requests.
• Inspect all items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
• Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and operating machinery.
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items for guest use.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel laundry or similar environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
