What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Attendant position at Baymont Inn and Suites?
MAJOR / KEY JOB DUTIES
- Cleans assigned guest rooms with adherence to company standards, policies and procedures.
- Assisting to clean public areas of the hotel as assigned by the manager (but not limited to) associate breakroom, guest laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells and common areas.
- Responsible for maintaining overall hotel cleanliness.
- Respond to guest calls for extra towels and special items.
- Make sure all lamps, TV's, and radios are in good working condition.
- Ensures housekeeping carts and laundry areas are maintained to company standard while in use.
- Stocks carts and linen racks
- This role would also be responsible for conducting ‘deep cleaning’ activities within the guest room in conjunction with preventative maintenance tasks.
- Reports any guest property that may be leftover in the room directly to manager on duty.
- Reports all maintenance issues directly to the manager on duty.
- Other duties as requested by the management team.
- Frequent pushing/pulling up to 50lbs
