What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Attendant position at Baymont Inn & Suites I-44?
Essential Responsibilities:
Dusts furniture and equipment.
Polishes metalwork and furniture.
Collect soiled linens for laundering and receives and stores linen supplies in linen closet.
Cleans bathrooms and replenishes with supplies.
Refurnishes room with supplies, towels etc. as required.
May deliver ironing boards, baby cribs to guest rooms.
Cleans room.
Sweeps, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors, using brooms and mops.
Cleans rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture and draperies using a vacuum cleaner.
Washes walls, ceiling and woodwork.
Washes windows, door panels and sills.
Empties wastebasket.
Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
Abides by the regulations of the material safety data sheet when using chemicals.
Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner. Performs other related duties as required.Skills & Abilities:
Understand simple instructions. Learn simple procedures and techniques. Perform routine work or the same task over and over again.
Job is 5 days a week with weekends a must.
Major holidays get time and a half when worked.
