Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software.
- Conduct night audits as needed to ensure accuracy in financial transactions and guest accounts.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain the front desk area in an organized and welcoming manner.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest needs are met.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash transactions in accordance with hotel policies.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations is preferred.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for interacting with guests effectively.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems is a plus; experience with night audit procedures is advantageous.
