Job Description :
The key responsibility of the Global Product Director, Telehandlers, is to manage the telehandler product portfolio with end-to-end accountability for P&L performance and market share, working in close collaboration with sales, marketing, engineering, operations, supply chain, and finance teams around the world. Through a deep understanding of products, markets, customer applications, and competitive landscape, this position will be responsible for the telehandler product strategy, aftermarket parts strategy, new product development roadmap, and go-to-market strategy. Additionally, this position will play a critical role in SIOP, pricing strategy, and operations planning.
This position may require travel up to 30% and will require work across global time zones.
What you'll do :
Main Tasks / Responsibilities
- Global responsibility for the Telehandler product strategy, go-to-market strategy, and P&L performance including aftermarket.
- Drive execution of strategic market share and margin growth initiatives.
- Lead and participate in monthly operations and strategy execution reviews to drive improved business results.
- Lead development of product roadmap and oversee the execution of product development through extensive knowledge and research of customer needs, market trends, customer / market segmentation, distribution channel characteristics, target market size, external environmental trends, and financial analysis.
- Design and deliver value proposition, value messaging, and sales training content.
- Manage, mentor, and develop talent, including direct reports.
- Collaborate with operations planning team to achieve alignment between go-to-market strategy, product roadmap, and footprint roadmap.
- Provide excellent internal customer support on product-specific issues and new opportunities.
- Support Genie SIOP process and capital investment planning.
- Maintain current knowledge of competitive products, projects, and strategies.
- Identify opportunities for differentiation of our products, services, and solutions that result in new products and offerings and support Genie’s strategy of leading quality and lowest cost of ownership.
- Prioritize and execute on projects, considering customer impact versus available resources.
- Support meeting Genie diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) goals & initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the Genie strategy.

Education / Qualifications :
Salary : The salary range for this position is $148,000 to $170,000 USD. The salary range may be higher or lower depending on the applicant’s location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
