Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused store manager to oversee day-to-day operations at Fishmongers Seafood Market. In this role, you will manage store operations, lead a team, and ensure that we continue to offer the highest quality products and service to our customers. If you have strong leadership skills, a passion for seafood, and experience in retail or food service management, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the seafood market, ensuring efficient and smooth processes.
• Oversee, train, and motivate a team of store clerks and other staff members.
• Ensure that all seafood products are fresh, properly stocked, and displayed in an attractive manner.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain product availability.
• Handle customer orders, inquiries, resolve issues, and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the store.
• Implement and enforce store policies and procedures.
• Work with upper management to develop sales strategies and meet store goals.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by ownership.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail, food service, or seafood management is required.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at once.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Manager is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.
• Ability to handle financial transactions and manage store budgets.
• Proficient in basic math for pricing and inventory management tasks.
