Role: System Validation Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 12 Months
Responsibilities
The system level validation team is involved in hardware integration, validation, and performance of the products like the latest GPU, NICs, FC HBAs, RAID Controllers in Intel and/or AMD based servers. The Systems Validation Engineer will qualify all the latest NPI products, troubleshoot and resolve validation issues.
Qualifications
Knowledge of Servers/PCs, basic knowledge of BIOS/BMC is a bonus.
Familiarity with PCIe Interface.
Familiarity with NICs, FC HBAs, Storage validation.
Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, Hypervisor knowledge is a bonus.
Experience with installing FW/OS(Firmware and operating Systems)
Familiarity with Protocols: Like PXE, iSCSI, FC
Scripting: Familiarity with scripting language like: Linux Shell/Python (Writing small codes)
Basic troubleshooting skills, first level of triage
Good Communication Skills, basic knowledge of common office software
Practical experience in high-tech environment, especially in NPI environment is a plus.
Familiarity with Logic Analyzer is a plus.
