What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vision Science UX Researcher position at BayOne Solutions?
Responsibilities
Design Vision Science studies with appropriate methodologies and research paradigms to address the question presented.
Execute vision science research by creating research plans and protocols, organizing materials, building study setups, recruiting participants, moderating research sessions, and analyzing results.
Deliver solid data-driven results and report in a clear manner in either written or verbal format.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with usability studies and surveys as well as vision science paradigms that span across all aspects related to how humans perceive from display and visual contents.
Technical experience in creating studies and analyzing data using Python, Matlab, R or custom software.
Knowledge of display and optical systems, and how the parameters affect human visual perception. Experience with measuring these impacts to drive product design.
Comfortable setting up new equipment and working with engineering or experience design team on implementing studies.
Clear communication including written and verbal formats.
Bonus Qualifications
Ph.D in Vision Science, Neuroscience, Computer Vision, Computer Science, Computer Graphics, Electronic Engineering, Human Computer Interaction, or Bioengineering.
Human Factors & Ergonomics research background or expertise.
