What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper / Cleaners position at Bayou City Luxe?
We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented housekeepers/cleaners to help maintain our furnished and unfurnished homes. If you're passionate about cleanliness, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy a flexible work schedule, this is a great opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
- Perform heavy or light cleaning of homes, both interior and exterior, after guest check-out (based on need)
- Clean and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and bedrooms
- Clean appliances, floors, and windows as required
- Keep track of and report missing items and linens
- Report any damages to property immediately
- Restock essentials for the next guest (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.)
- Keep inventory of supplies and notify management of items needed for each home
- Light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and replacing AC filters
- Ensure homes are guest-ready for upcoming stays
Requirements:
- Must have your own basic cleaning equipment (towels, sponges, vacuum, broom, Swiffer, etc.)
- Reliable transportation is a must with a valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel to various locations we service across Houston, Galveston, and nearby areas
- Airbnb or furnished housing Cleaning Experience is a plus
Schedule:
- Flexible availability between 11 AM and 5 PM, 7 days a week, depending on demand
- Must be available to work on weekends and holidays as needed
