The Accessibility Expert position is a critical role in our agency, responsible for ensuring that all digital content and marketing materials meet accessibility standards.
Job Summary: The Accessibility Expert will conduct comprehensive accessibility audits, ensure compliance with accessibility standards, and provide training and support to staff on accessibility best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct accessibility audits of websites, mobile apps, and digital marketing materials
- Evaluate and improve website accessibility using WCAG 2.1, Section 508, and ADA guidelines
- Develop resources and guidelines to promote accessibility awareness within the organization
- Provide training and support to staff on accessibility best practices
- Maintain detailed documentation of accessibility audits and recommendations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Marketing, or related field
- At least 3-5 years of experience in accessibility testing and remediation
- Certifications such as CPACC or WAS are highly desirable
