POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide high-quality support to our business members and business bankers by assisting with their banking needs. The Business Banking Representative II/ Team Lead will oversee the daily operations and overall performance of the Business Banking Representatives to meet organizational goals while maintaining operational efficiency. This includes ensuring adherence to policy and procedures, handling escalated member issues, and fostering a positive environment for both members and staff. This position will be the first point of contact for business members, offering services such as business account opening, loan inquiries, and providing guidance on various business banking products and services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SUPPORTING DUTIES:
- Assist business members and business bankers with opening new business accounts, including checking, savings, and merchant services accounts.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with credit union policies.
- Educate business members on available business banking products and services, including loans, credit lines, and digital banking tools.
- Assist business members with various banking transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, wire transfers, and payments.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to resolve member issues and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Process loan applications, collect necessary documentation, and assist business members with loan inquiries.
- Foster strong relationships with business members to promote loyalty and encourage repeat business.
- Follow up with members regularly to ensure their banking needs are being met.
- Support preparation of audit documents and assist in auditing process.
- Monitor and evaluate Business Banking Representatives performance in meeting goals, providing guidance and feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
- Ensure goal tracking in Salesforce.
- Proactively communicate with Service Development on new policy and procedure to be trained and documented.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Required Education: A high school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience: 3-5 years of similar or related experience.
Required Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of business banking products and services.
