What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Assistant Branch Manager position at BayPort Credit Union Brand?
The primary purpose of this position is to provide excellent member service to current and potential members who chose to bank digitally with the Credit Union. The Digital Assistant Branch Manager is responsible for coaching, mentoring, and providing assistance to the Digital Branch team members. The Digital Assistant Branch Manager responsibilities include online account and loan opening functions, member onboarding, and interactive teller services.
Responsibilities Include:
- Deliver exceptional member service to every member, every time by ensuring employees deliver consistently high quality service to both internal and external members.
- Assist with promoting the sales and service culture through the efficient daily operation of a full service virtual branch, including operations, compliance, lending, product sales, member service, and virtual security and safety.
- Participate in weekly and monthly meetings.
- Support other departmental staff as necessary.
- Assist with facilitating superior and continuing member sales and service.
- Assist with completing monthly reports for tracking of digital channel transactions.
- Assist with keeping the Digital Branch team members up to date on all product, service or process changes and developments.
- Assist with increasing branch membership base, deposit base, and loan portfolio.
- In the absence of the Digital Branch Manager the Digital Assistant Branch Manager will provide accountability and make decisions for the Digital Branch Team.
- Performing other duties as requested.
Skills and Abilities:

- Strong customer service skills to include telephone and email/internet skills, strong data entry skills,
- Ability to operate a PC including Microsoft Word and Excel, and attentive to detail.
- Good typing, problem –solving, and organizational skills and possess the ability to multi-task.
Qualifications:
- Required Education: Education equivalent to a four-year high school education.
- Required Experience: 2 – 4 years of teller, member service, loan or related experience.
- Preferred Experience: Previously held supervisor or leadership roles.
- Required Knowledge: Knowledge of general credit union operational procedures to include cash handling, teller job-related duties, and loan processes and procedures.
