What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT-Student - Peninsula/Southside locations position at BayPort Credit Union Brand?
This job opening is for current students at local high schools, colleges or universities that are seeking seasonal employment during the Summer of 2025.
The primary purpose of the Teller position is to provide quality service to members by processing financial transactions, resolving problems, answering questions, and suggesting products and services that improve our members' financial well-being.
Responsibilities include:
- Process financial transactions promptly and accurately
- Receive, inspect, and verify cash and other negotiable instruments for deposit and perform a variety of other transactions as directed, in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Balance transaction input at end of workday
- Identify member needs and suggests appropriate products and services
- Provides a high level of professional, quality service
Required Qualifications:
- High School education or equivalent
- Previous cash handling and/or customer service experience
- Acceptable credit rating and criminal background check
