POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of this position is to identify and develop relationships with prospective high net worth members and provide banking services with the goal of managing their wealth and increasing their relationship to graduate them into the Private Banking benefits. This is accomplished by gathering and evaluating information about members’ financial circumstances, making recommendations to aid in meeting their financial goals and needs; and executing solutions and service to the member with a focus on building a strong relationship between the member and the Credit Union.
Essential Functions And Supporting Duties
Required Education: High school degree or equivalent.
Preferred Education: A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study.
Required Experience: Minium 2 years’ experience with high-net-worth individuals or related field in financial advising
Preferred Experience: 3 years of Credit Union or banking experience.
Required Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of sales and service practices to include outbound sales & service calls.
Other Requirements: Ability to obtain Series 6 and 63 licenses and Life and Health insurance licenses.
Must provide one’s own mode of transportation for employment purposes. Must transport oneself to assigned Credit Union locations. Must maintain one’s own automobile insurance. Must sustain a valid driver’s license and a good driving record; provided by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
On-call availability which may include work hours during posted credit union holidays, weekends and weeknights.

Essential Functions And Supporting Duties
- Partner and support Private Bankers in managing high-net-worth client relationships by assisting in providing personalized services.
- Work closely with clients to understand their financial goals and providing them with tailored financial advice and solutions to meet their needs.
- Collaborate with the Private Banking team to deliver a broad range of financial services to include investment strategies, estate planning, and credit solutions.
- Assist in the day-to-day management of client relationships, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction. Respond to client queries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Responsible for making outbound calls to prospective Private Banking clients to increase their deposit relationship with the Credit Union.
- Maintain knowledge regarding financial products and services offered by the Credit Union, including investment funds, trusts, loans, and insurance solutions.
- Assist members in opening accounts to best meet their needs and answering any inquiries regarding existing accounts.
- Process loan applications, explain conditional loan decisions with the respective interest rates and terms, contact members to follow up on loan request, educate members on loan protection products and action steps.
- Support business development activities by identifying opportunities for cross selling credit union products and services. Help in acquiring new clients under the guidance of Private Bankers.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, taking notes, and following up on action items to ensure client needs are addressed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
