At BayRidge Hospital, we are committed to providing exceptional mental health services to our patients. We are seeking a skilled Admissions Clinician to join our team.
The Admissions Clinician will be responsible for conducting clinical reviews of referrals, coordinating the admission process, and communicating with referring agencies and hospitals. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a solid understanding of behavioral health diagnoses and conditions.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical reviews of referrals and make recommendations for treatment.
- Coordinate the admission process for accepted patients, including communicating with family members and caregivers.
- Communicate with referring agencies and hospitals to ensure seamless transitions of care.
- Triage patients who arrive at the hospital to determine the most appropriate level of care.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in social work, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, counseling, clinical mental health counseling, education (counseling), marriage and family therapy or other related field required.
- Prior experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
- MA professional licensure not required.
