Job Summary:
We are seeking an exceptional Head Server to lead our front-of-house team in a fast-paced restaurant setting. As the head of our service staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that every guest has a memorable dining experience. Duties:
- Oversee the service staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for all guests.
- Manage tables and seating assignments to maximize efficiency and minimize wait times.
- Ensure that all orders are accurately processed and communicated to the kitchen staff.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, floors, and restrooms.
- Train and mentor junior servers to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy and integrity.
- Use point-of-sale (POS) systems, to process orders and manage inventory.
- Manage guest reservations.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate orders and payments.
- Provide exceptional guest services, including helping with special requests and ensuring that all guests have a positive dining experience.
- Work closely with the kitchen to ensure that orders are fulfilled promptly and to the guest's satisfaction.
- Participate in pre-shift meetings to review the day's menu, discuss any special events, and assign duties to the service staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server or in a related role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong customer service skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in POS systems.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Ability to work in a team environment and to provide support and guidance to junior staff members.

- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
