Associate Systems Administrator
W2 Contract-to-Hire
Salary Range: $52,000 - $62,400 per year
Location: Phoenix, AZ - Onsite Role
Job Summary:
As an Associate SA, you will administer, monitor, and support hardware platforms, operating systems, and related products and technologies. You will work to improve distribution center operations by participating in support and integration activities for distribution and transportation systems. You will ensure high system uptime and availability standards, establishing documentation, standards, best practices, procedures, processes, and guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, install, maintain, configure, secure, and support hardware platforms, operating systems, wired/wireless network components, and related products and technologies.
- Develop and deliver timely solutions to problems that enable the IT organization to move forward quickly while ensuring that high-quality workmanship is exhibited during all delivery phases.
- Plan and execute performance baselines, monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning, including diagnosing and resolving performance issues.
- Take on new roles and responsibilities as assigned or required by business needs.
- Provide appropriate documentation and knowledge transfer to all supported individuals or organizations.
- Perform hardware/software configuration and release management.
- Utilize productivity tools to proactively manage workload, including time, project, and priority management, as part of everyday work.
- Utilize SDLC processes to develop, present, and track project activity, including presentations to technical and management layer associates.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Detailed understanding and ability to design structured cabling systems utilized in the DC, including CAT5, Cat 6/6E, Single and Multi-Mode fiber Optics, IDF/MDFs, switches, and cross-connection methodologies.
- Comprehensive understanding and ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues on WCS platforms (examples: Dematic conveyance, Inteligrated / Crisplant Tilt Tray, GOH, PTL/PTV, Ticketing).
- Comprehensive understanding and ability to troubleshoot hardware/software on the following deployed components: RF devices, ticketing systems, label platforms, timekeeping, backup environments, and voice systems
