Middleware Engineer
W2 Contract-to-Hire Opportunity
Compensation Range: $156,000 - $176,800 per year
Work Location: Remote Role - Pacific Standard Time Zone
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, patch, configure, and maintain StreamSets on-prem runtime instances.
- Provide Level 3 escalation support for existing production systems and assist with related enhancement activities.
- Ensure proper testing and adherence to business change management practices and procedures.
- Collaborate with the middleware team to integrate Snowflake with middleware systems.
- Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines using StreamSets and other middleware platforms.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Strong technical expertise in cloud applications, data ingestion, and data lake architecture.
- A StreamSets Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledgeable on the data landing needs into Snowflake for data analytics and reporting requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of StreamSets cloud and on-prem architecture, including environment configuration and deployment models.
- Proven experience with middleware integration technologies such as StreamSets, Goldengate, Oracle, Databricks, Fivetran, or Spotfire.
- Strong Python programming experience.
- Hands-on experience and strong technical knowledge with Linux and Windows, authentication systems, networking, clustering, load balancers, Java, SSL, and certificates.
