  • Job Title : Cloud Architect
  • Location : Summit, NJ with in-office work 3 days per week
  • Contract role
  • Key Responsibilities :
  • Lead the design and architecture of Amazon Connect environment
  • Develop a comprehensive migration plan from Genesys to Amazon Connect
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the migration project
  • Design and implement seamless integrations between Amazon Connect and existing systems
  • Oversee the architecture of the underlying cloud infrastructure
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of the Amazon Connect platform
  • Develop comprehensive documentation and lead knowledge transfer sessions
  • Stay updated with latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies and advocate for continuous improvements
  • Key Requirements :
  • 8 years of experience in cloud architecture, with 3 years focused on Amazon Connect and AWS cloud services
  • Experience in designing and implementing complex cloud-based architectures
  • Strong experience in Genesys and Amazon Connect migration projects
  • Expert-level knowledge of AWS, particularly Amazon Connect, AWS Lambda, Amazon Lex, Amazon Polly
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform
  • Understanding of cloud security principles, compliance standards, and best practices
  • Experience in designing system integrations using RESTful APIs, webhooks
  • Experience integrating Amazon Connect with third-party platforms such as CRM, workforce management tools
  • Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting issues, designing solutions, and optimizing cloud infrastructure
  • Leadership skills to guide technical teams and mentor junior engineers
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Preferred Qualifications :
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certifications
  • Certification in Genesys Cloud or related contact center technologies.
