Job Summary
The Client Service Specialist will be responsible for handling various inquiries from clients and members regarding their benefits and services provided by Giardini Consulting Group. This includes benefits questions, eligibility, enrollment, and billing inquiries. Delivering the best in customer service to our clients and their employees is paramount in what we do. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a background that includes client/member service, with experience in health insurance and employee benefits.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for members, addressing inquiries regarding enrollment, eligibility, benefits, and claims status.
- Serve as a liaison between clients, members, and the insurance carriers & vendor partners.
- Collaborate with sales and account management teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing support for clients.
- Develop strong relationships with clients to foster loyalty and retention.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service or account management, with a strong preference in the health insurance industry.
- Excellent Communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess client needs effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building rapport with clients.
- Familiarity with employee benefits other than health insurance is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
- Proficient in using Excel and other relevant tools to manage client information.
