About The Role:
Baystate Financial is seeking an Estate & Business Planning Attorney to join our Firm. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside our talented group of Advisors and their clients to ensure our clients meet their estate planning goals and objectives. This is a hybrid role, with candidates able to work from our Wellesley, Wakefield, or Boston, MA offices.
Responsibilities:
· Participate and prepare content and provide expertise for meetings with Advisors and their Clients.
· Provide case consultation to Advisors and Financial Planners on their Business and Estate Planning cases.
· Educate clients and Advisors on strategies for wealth preservation and succession planning.
· Conduct advanced markets training for Clients and Associates to educate them on current regulations and bring forth potential solutions.
· Contribute segmented point-of-sale assistance to the Firm’s Advisors and Specialists.
· Act as a liaison between the Firm, Clients and the Home Office Estate and Planning unit.
· Serve as a “warehouse” of knowledge for all available industry and advanced markets materials and resources.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess a strong academic record and excellent written and oral communication skills, with 5 years of experience in Estate and Business planning, tax planning, and trust and estate administration. Additionally, the individual would have prior experience working directly with clients and families and their advisors on wealth transfer strategies and financial planning, while working alongside a team of skilled professionals.
