Financial Planning Case Consultant

Reports to: Director of Financial Planning

Role Overview:

Responsible for designing and developing customized financial strategies and recommendations for individuals and business owners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize financial planning software to input data, model strategies, calculate solutions, and explore implementation options.
• Develop actionable, client-centric financial plans, coordinating with paraplanners for data entry as needed.
• Apply expertise in tax and planning issues affecting high-net-worth individuals and business owners.
• Gather insights from specialists to enhance financial strategies.
• Prepare correspondence, track financial plan progress, and support financial planners in meetings.
• Draft tailored recommendations for high-net-worth clients, business owners, business succession, and special needs planning.
• Advocate for the firm’s financial planning value proposition.
• Maintain required licensing, registration, and continuing education.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and expertise
• Strong understanding of the financial planning process
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team success
• Excellent communication, writing, and research skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience preparing financial plans, ideally 3 years
• Familiarity with eMoney Advisor software is a plus

Compensation Package:

• Base starting at $75,000.00 per year, depending on experience and credentials

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 4 days in office, Fridays are remote work
