General Interpreter

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Interpreter to facilitate communication between individuals who speak different languages or use sign language. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of linguistics and be able to interpret spoken or signed messages accurately and effectively. Duties
- Provide accurate interpretation services in real-time for conversations between parties who speak different languages or use American Sign Language.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while interpreting sensitive information.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific communication needs and preferences.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in interpretation and translation.
- Adapt interpretation techniques based on the context of the conversation, whether formal or informal.

Skills
- Proficiency in linguistics with a strong ability to interpret spoken language accurately.
- Multilingual capabilities are a significant advantage; candidates who are bilingual will be prioritized.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to convey messages effectively.
- Strong listening skills to ensure accurate interpretation of the speaker's intent.
