What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Manager position at Baystate Pool Supplies?
This position requires the management of the warehouse ensuring the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods; to ensure that orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantities. Responsible for all paperwork related to shipping and receiving and to coordinate delivery of product arriving to warehouse and shipments going out. This candidate may assist in more complex orders, operate forklift, pallet jack, or hand truck and will promote and adhere to all safety initiatives, policies, and procedures for all warehouse employees.
They will lead and direct the work of all warehouse personnel, shipping clerk(s), Counter Customer Service Rep, and Drivers and to also submit any inventory discrepancies to the Branch Manager.
5 years’ experience; training in the management of employees including coaching, corrective action, and performance management; trained in safety and loss prevention as well as OSHA regulations as applicable to this industry; proficient PC skills; some customer service experience; excellent oral and written communications skills.
