Job Summary

Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including coding for billing purposes.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures.
- Administer medications as directed by physicians.
- Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
- Support the dermatology department with specialized procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Skills
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist in patient assessments.
- Proficiency in basic life support techniques.
- Familiarity with geriatric care practices and considerations.
- Experience in medical-surgical settings is beneficial.
