POSITION SUMMARY:
The Analyst, Analytics will perform duties of a full stack software developer. They will use knowledge of the Java or Python programming language Framework related stacks, and fundamental OO concepts. They will work closely with Team lead and other developers in achieving optimum productivity. This role will require interaction and communication with other IT business units (Middleware engineers, Release Management, Infrastructure, etc.)

- Follow rules of the organization using the employee handbook, company tenets, and the SDLC to understand those rules.
- Must have high level of interpersonal and communication skills.
- Documents system design solutions and source code using standard requirement templates provided by the business analysts/release managers.
- Follow outlined software architecture and designs provided.
- Develops system solutions that meet both the quality standards and timelines as determined by the business.
- Tests software using proven testing frameworks, tools and techniques.
- Works closely with quality assurance to remedy issues uncovered.
- Follows specified change management process and documentation.
- Participates in team meetings, providing input and suggestions.
- Ability to adapt and overcome problems; must be able to multitask and prioritize independently.
- Ability to take on new tasks and to adjust to an energetic, continually evolving environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Understanding of software development in an Object Oriented and Multi-Tier Environment
- Agile development methodologies
- Object-oriented programming (OOP) language, such as Java or Python.
- OOP principles and associated frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot or Django).
- JavaScript and at least one modern library or framework like React.
- Databases (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Unit testing (JUnit or Jest)
- REST Web services
- Git/SVN/BitBucket
- Docker, Containerization
- This role will be a hybrid position (3 days onsite) based in either Bayview’s NYC office.
- Base compensation is expected to be $70,000 - $78,000 with the opportunity for incentive compensation including bonus compensation.
