The Associate, Consumer Transaction Management will be responsible for supporting the transaction closing process to ensure timely resolution according to negotiated terms, while being within pre-approved expense estimates.

Deal Execution:
- Able to coordinate all components of the day-to-day transaction closing process including managing 3rd parties, setting up the appropriate legal entities, and ensuring internal stake-holders are engaged
- Understands the drivers of timeline in transactions and how to achieve closing by the given deadline
- Can develop a good understanding of new transaction structures and understand how to close them
- Develops rapport with external counterparties
- Flags internally when expenses are trending above approved levels, or when timelines are extending
- Ensures all collection/reserve accounts are appropriately invested
- Works with internal and external parties to ensure legal documents reflect negotiated deal terms, and gets sign-off from legal, tax, accounting, and IT
- Actively tracks document negotiation, and pushes when needed to move documents through the pipeline as expeditiously as possible
- Flags any relevant legal issues internally, and follows up as needed
- Maintains a complete, organized repository of all executed legal documents and engagement letters in the TM directory
- General quantitative and analytical skills
- Has an understanding of financial concepts especially around fixed income
- Able to review models of transaction waterfalls
- Ability to act independently to reach individual and team goals
- Manages time well and plans activities ahead in order to deliver work product on time
- Proficiency with Excel modeling
- Excellent organizational skills and can manage numerous transactions at the same time
- Good presentation skills and able to build rapport with internal and external parties
- Confidence to speak up when transactions are off-track from intended deadline or costs are trending outside of budget
- Ability to prioritize several tasks at one time and meet tight deadlines
- Self-driven
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or equivalent education and related training
- 3-5 years of work experience in rating agencies or ABS investment shops
- CA and/or CFA designation would be beneficial but not required
- This role will be a hybrid position (3 days onsite) based in either Bayview’s Coral Gables, FL or NYC offices.
- Base compensation is expected to be $95,000 - $120,000 with the opportunity for incentive compensation including bonus compensation.
