Overview
POSITION SUMMARY :
The SharePoint Developer designs, develops, and coordinates the implementation and support of the Company's SharePoint environments, including performing testing and quality assurance of SharePoint applications, workflows, and integration services related to the Company's implementation of Microsoft SharePoint and related technologies. This position requires the ability to assess and understand a diverse set of business process and convert those needs into technical solutions in SharePoint through the development and maintenance of Sites, Subsites, document libraries, lists, workflows, and PowerApps. In addition to creating and maintaining SharePoint assets, the position is also responsible for assisting business users in the use of SharePoint to the benefit of their respective job duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Designs, implements, and administers the Company's implementation of SharePoint, including sites, databases, workflows, and content management services.
- Designs enterprise business solutions utilizing SharePoint technologies to meet customer needs.
- Designs and develops sites, pages, lists, views, and functions for the Company's Intranet and other SharePoint sites.
- Leads end-users, division representatives and management in understanding and documenting functional business requirements and workflows. Recommends improvements leveraging SharePoint technologies to solve day-to-day challenges.
- Assists in creating new applications and dashboard solutions for the Intranet and other SharePoint sites to improve enterprise communications and collaboration.
- Monitor system usage by evaluating built-in SharePoint reports and reviewing the files and websites that are no longer used and can be deleted or archived to free up space.
- Works collaboratively with the Information Technology staff including : Systems Administrators, Network Engineers, Security Officer, Systems Analysts and Web Developers to build and maintain a robust SharePoint environment.
- Researches and applies emerging information technology trends, products, and services in support of SharePoint solutions.
- Trains end-users on SharePoint.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
