The Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will play a vital role in the Wellness Program & Clinic, contributing to the health and well-being of residents. This individual will work alongside the Health Services Administrator and other professionals to promote a culture of health within the community, encouraging positive lifestyle changes that enhance functional independence. The position includes managing the Home Care Program, providing direct nursing services, and ensuring residents' transition through the Life Plan community's continuum of care.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge and Skill
- Current Washington State Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing.
- Prefer at least 3 – 5 years experience.
- Experience working in Life Plan Community preferred.
- Fundamental knowledge of geriatric wellness, health education, and health promotion.
- Skill in developing, coordinating, and leading a multidimensional health promotion program.
- Knowledge of skilled services skilled nursing services, including B12 shots, allergy shots, staple removal, and basic wound care..
- Knowledgeable of modes of transmission of infectious diseases, including blood-borne pathogens, and consistent in the practice of universal precautions.
- Proficient in documentation and handling health records.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Excellent interpersonal relations attributes including patience; genuine caring attitude toward the elderly, disabled persons, and children; flexibility; leadership; poise when speaking to a group; enthusiasm; positive outlook; an ability to focus on the strengths of other people; healthy sense of humor.
