Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using a point-of-sale system or cash register.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or busy shifts.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and high-quality service.
- Uphold restaurant policies regarding food handling, sanitation, and safety practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred .
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including knowledge of menu items and kitchen procedures.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
