Quality Inspector III

• Lead and conduct comprehensive quality inspections and tests on mechanical, electrical, and civil construction activities at all project stages.
• Review and validate construction documents, including plans, specifications, and shop drawings, for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Perform visual inspections and measurements to verify the quality of workmanship and adherence to project requirements.
• Identify and document any deviations or non-compliance issues.
• Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and materials, ensuring they meet project requirements and comply with quality control procedures.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to resolve complex quality issues and provide technical guidance.
• Prepare accurate and detailed inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
• Assist in the development and improvement of quality control procedures and documentation.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, standards, and regulations related to solar construction quality assurance.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify and document deviations from established quality standards and recommend corrective actions to address any deficiencies.
• Conduct inspections of equipment and materials to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation control practices, including the preparation of inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and other quality-related documentation.

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or technical training in construction, engineering, or quality control is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or civil engineering is preferred.
• 4 years of experience in construction quality assurance/quality control, with a strong focus on large-scale utility solar projects.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and civil construction techniques, processes, and equipment for the renewables industry.
• In-depth understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to utility-scale solar construction.
• Proven expertise in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Proficient in using inspection tools, equipment, and software applications.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects or non-compliance issues.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with project stakeholders, construction craft staff, and the project management team.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor environments and climb ladders when required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA-10 (Construction Specific) certification
• Ability to pass a comprehensive drug screening and background check.
• Willingness to travel to/from project sites as required with your personal vehicle.

• Must be able to work in a physical environment with full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must regularly lift and /or move greater than 25 pounds with or without assistance.
