What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Maintenance Assistant position at BayWoods of Annapolis?
1. Performs repairs to the buildings, grounds equipment, and systems and may paint and perform minor carpentry and structural work such as drywall, repair / replacement, and wallpapering.
2. Assists in testing fire alarms, emergency generators, HVAC, and other systems.
3. Performs scheduled maintenance checks
4. Assist inspectors and contractors in the testing, inspection, or repair of equipment, utility / emergency systems, and structures.
5. Requisition supplies and equipment as authorized.
6. Reports supplies and equipment needs
7. Maintains tools and equipment in good working order.
8. Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned; completes Relias training on time every month.
- Familiarity with emergency procedures and may be required to assist with evacuations.
Other Duties :
1. Operates as a member of a team both within the department and across other departments.
2. Fills in for the Director in his / her absence.
3. Performs other related duties as assigned.
