WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Perform sonographic procedures.
- Travel to various healthcare sites in {location} and surrounding areas.
- Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
- Create patient reports to assist the physician with documentation.
- Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule out cardiac anomalies.
- Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
- Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.
- Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.
- Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.
- Other duties assigned by managers

IS THIS YOU?
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Cardiovascular Sonography or equivalent
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Adult Echocardiography (AE)
- Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology
- Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
- Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
- Able to communicate effectively with physicians, clients, and team members
- Able to remain calm in emergencies or patient distress
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future
DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?
- Registered Vascular Technologist Certification (RVT)
- Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
RISK OF EXPOSURE TO BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS: Category 1 - Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
