Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain knowledge of products and services to assist customers with inquiries and provide product demonstrations when necessary.
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure the store is visually appealing and well-stocked.
- Process sales transactions using the point-of-sale system, including returns and exchanges.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding promotions, sales, and store policies.
- Uphold phone etiquette when answering customer calls, addressing inquiries or directing them to appropriate staff members.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers positively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with product demos and sales techniques is a plus but not mandatory.
