Job Title: After-School Basketball Coach

Overview:
BBA is looking for an enthusiastic Youth Basketball Coach to lead after-school basketball sessions for elementary students. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fostering a fun and supportive environment for young athletes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead age-appropriate basketball drills focused on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Teach basketball basics: dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and court awareness.
- Organize small games to practice skills in a team setting.
- Supervise children, ensuring safety and maintaining an energetic atmosphere.
- Plan weekly lessons based on age and skill level.
- Encourage inclusivity and motivate students to participate and grow.
- Provide feedback and address behavioral or safety concerns.
- Set up and break down equipment before and after sessions.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children, preferably in sports.
- Strong understanding of basketball and its fundamentals.
- Ability to teach skills in an engaging manner.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification (preferred).
- Background check required.
Compensation:
$35.00 - $55.00 per hour, based on experience.
