Job Title: After-School Sports Coach (Soccer)

About BBA: A nationally recognized youth sports academy specializing in soccer, basketball, cheerleading, yoga, flag football programs and more designed to foster athletic excellence, teamwork, and character development in children. Our goal is to empower young athletes and provide them with the skills they need to succeed on and off the field.
We are expanding our after-school programs across multiple locations in the U.S. and are seeking passionate coaches to help us inspire and develop the next generation of athletes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead structured, engaging, and age-appropriate soccer drills and activities that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Teach basic soccer techniques such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and ball control.
- Introduce simple game strategies and concepts to young players, ensuring they understand the fundamentals of soccer.
- Supervise children during soccer sessions, ensuring safety and providing a positive, energetic atmosphere.
- Create and maintain a fun, inclusive environment where children feel comfortable and encouraged to try new things.
- Plan and execute weekly lesson plans based on the skill level and age group of the participants.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members.
- Provide positive reinforcement and constructive feedback to players to help them improve their skills.
- Maintain a friendly and approachable attitude with students, parents, and team members.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by maintaining a safe playing environment and enforcing safety rules.
- Set up and clean up soccer equipment before and after each session.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sports coaching or a related field, focusing on working with youth, particularly soccer.
- Strong passion for mentoring and instilling values such as sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
- Must pass a background check (district requirement).
- First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
- Reliable transportation and access to a smartphone for communication are required.
- Availability to coach after school. The workday starts at 2:00 PM, with each instructional session lasting 1.5 hours.
Compensation:
- $25.00 - $55.00 per hour, based on experience and performance.
- Paid per session.
