Position Summary
Coordinate information for development of new styles from concept to production via interaction with internal and external cross functional partners
Responsibilities
- Work between Production and Design
- Create production t-packs using Adobe Illustrator & PLM and create flat sketches for production orders styles
- Follow up fabric , all trim and washes approval and keep in record
- Work/help with Design team to follow up fabrics and trims to meet Design aesthetics, price points, and quality needs
- Ensure compliance to T&A calendar and major milestones by working with cross-functional team; elevate issues to production Manager/Design Director as needed
- Adhere to sourcing strategy by partnering with Design director & Production Manager before placing sample request in overseas factories
- Allocate samples and source raw materials from appropriate factories and mills
- Actively participate in key milestone meetings with Design, Production
Production
- Communicate daily with overseas vendors regarding style development, production, and delivery information
- Review outstanding issues on Production Status, take action accordingly and elevate to Supervisor as needed
- Approve main label wording and country of origin information on product labeling
- Help to develop and improve tracking and record keeping systems
- Perform other duties as required inclusive of ownership of corporate special orders projects
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, or equivalent
- 1-2 years related experience
- Must be able to do garment flat sketches & create production t-packs using Adobe Illustrator & PLM plus
- Ability to act as liaison between Production, Design team, Tech design and possess excellent communication and analytical skills
- Must be detail oriented, computer literate, and able to multitask as well as have a high sense of urgency
