Data Analyst Position
BBC Research & Consulting (BBC) is a Denver-based economic and policy research firm committed to building and preserving economic and social equity within the communities in which we work. Since 1989, we have conducted hundreds of research projects for a wide range of public and private sector organizations across the country related to equity in business growth and success, community development, public services, education, and other social and economic concerns.
We seek a qualified researcher to join our team as a full-time Data Analyst with skills and experience in:
- Data compilation and management, including organization relational databases;
- Data analysis, including inferential statistics and regression modeling;
- Statistical programs and packages, including Excel, Access, STATA, SPSS, or R; and
- Knowledge of computer programming languages, including Perl, Python, or SQL.
Requirements for the position include a demonstrated interest in economic and social equity, exceptional work ethic, superb attention to detail, superior proactiveness, willingness to learn, and effective work in a team environment. A four-year college degree in a relevant field is preferred.
BBC team members are required to work from our downtown office on Mondays and Wednesdays and have the option to work remotely on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. We provide necessary computer equipment, mobile phones, and other equipment for the duration of our team members’ tenure at the firm.
Expected compensation: $60,000-$75,000, inclusive of base salary and annual bonus
