Key Responsilbilities and Accountabilities
Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Management & Monitoring
- Manage the creative development process and cross-functional teams on key projects across designated workstreams
- Be active in every part of the process, from scheduling kick-offs, building workback schedules, following up on milestones, budget monitoring, and delivering final assets
- Manage marketing and vendor communication such as outreach, POs, SOWs, NDAs and talent forms, making sure to get clear sign-off between key stakeholders.
- Actively participate in creative meetings and reviews, while detailing feedback and clear next steps
Planning & Organization
- Work with marketing leads to coordinate current and future planning-all for designated workstreams
- Organize day-to-day creative deliverables through task-management software, lead status check-ins as needed
- Navigate the push and pull between project needs, while understanding the nuances of creative problem-solving across teams
Communication
- Facilitate communication with marketing team leads and to ensure we deliver against objectives.
- Effectively communicate needs of the creative team to marketing and wider teams to ensure the team has all the information they need to succeed
Knowledge, Skills, Training and Experience
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years’ experience in a project manager or producer role either in-house at a media company or at an agency (news/tech experience a plus)
Desired Qualifications:
- Comfortable working on small to large-scale campaigns while finding ways to fit in day-to-day needs
- Has a firm grasp of the end-to-end creative process for multiple channels, being able to create workback schedules for specific deliverables as it relates to design, copy and video.
- Experience collaborating with internal and external teams, translating their needs to the creative and brand team, marketing leads and vice versa
- Creative problem solver who doesn't take themselves too seriously
- Can work under pressure while taking the unexpected in stride and navigating ambiguity
- Effective but diplomatic communication skills
- Hardworking individual who is able to multitask and be organized to a fault
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative culture, embracing change and successfully communicating and implementing feedback
- Phenomenal attention to detail despite high volume of work
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Office products
- Expertise knowledge of project management software.
- Experience with Monday.com is a plus.
- Comfortable identifying problem areas, having open and honest discussions while providing solutions
- Loves the BBC and the content we create
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $95k-$105k. This does not include other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and geographic location of the position.
Hybrid: This role is classified as hybrid, typically requiring a minimum of 1-2 days per week in the office.
