- Will work as Security Specialists and be responsible for compliance and performance of the work performed under the contract
- Maintain the Personnel Security Program (PERSEC) ,Physical Security, Industrial Personnel Security, OPSEC, Antiterrorism and Information Security Programs IAW DoD/Army regulations, policies, and guidance.
- Develop and maintain PERSEC Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) incorporating overarching prescribed guidance.
- Perform personnel security functions such as fingerprinting, initiate and track background investigations, re-investigations, interim clearances or continuous vetting for military, civilian, volunteer, extern, and rehired annuitant employees.
- Ensure a valid final DD Form 254 (Contract Security Classification Specification) is maintained on all classified contracts.
- Maintain DEERS/RAPIDS system/records IAW regulations, policies, and guidance.
- Maintain and troubleshoot all Electronic Security Systems (ESS) to include but is not limited to HQMVK Intrusion Detection System (IDS) system, HQMVK panic buttons, Security Surveillance System/CCTV, Access Control System (ACS), etc.
- Comply with Incident Reporting requirements IAW DoD/Army regulations, policies, and guidance.
- Annually review/update OPSEC Plan documenting changes and final approval of update.
- Review, update and provide/facilitate annual OPSEC, CTIP, TARP or other OPSEC related training, as required.
- Annually review/update and exercise the AT Plan documenting changes and final approval of update.
- Conduct and document Risk Assessments (RA) annually on all manned MVK owned, leased and/or managed facilities using the approved process directed by HQUSACE which is currently the AT Risk Assessment Tool (ARAT).
- Annually review/update the Random Antiterrorism Measures Plan (RAMP), assemble staffing packet, and submit via SLE Manager for Command review and approval NLT 30 Nov.
- Research, compile, and conduct country/location specific Antiterrorism Awareness briefings for all employees traveling OCONUS.
- Annually review/update the Information Security Plan documenting changes and final approval of update.
- Maintain and implement procedures for assuring all persons requiring access to classified material are properly cleared and trained.
- Conduct inquiries into crimes against government assets coordinating the findings with local law enforcement agencies and/or prosecuting authorities, assist in fact finding missions, and testify in court, as required, for criminal prosecution resulting from investigations.
- Conduct inquiries into violations of Army policies and regulations
- Conduct law enforcement liaison in areas of responsibilities during emergency response missions to coordinate criminal intel to determine areas of high risk, trends, types of criminal activity to include in workforce safety briefings.
- Ensure workforce notifications for their action and awareness of directives received to increase FPCONs.
- Conduct inquiries and/or site inspections to ensure increased FPCON implementation and workforce compliance within the MVK AOR.
- Track compliance and assist in coordinating mitigation measure(s) to reduce risk where prescribed measures cannot be met or are insufficient to provide the level of protection the situation warrants.
- Provide law enforcement coordination/liaison and/or mission support services for special events to include but not limited to Change of Commands, Public Meetings, VIP Visits, etc.
- Perform various administrative/clerical duties/tasks in support of Security functions and programs and other duties as assigned.
