What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Director position at BBDO Atlanta?
BBDO has been in the big idea business for over a century and is one of the most awarded advertising agencies in the world. Dedication to our craft is summed up in the BBDO mantra: Do Big Things. We create work that changes consumer behavior, brings a brand’s story to life, and is an economic multiplier for our clients' businesses. We uniquely combine world-class creative with content production agility and real-time analytics.
Quite simply, we believe that in the absence of great work, nothing else matters. However, the forms that ‘great work’ takes are continually shifting. More than an account director who can successfully shepherd a creative campaign from brief to execution, we need a passionate marketer who can help identify and unlock new opportunities to drive business whether that’s through new ways of understanding our customers, re-imaging the customer experience, developing new content marketing platforms, or the next new tech innovation.
Beyond the traditional skills associated with an accomplished account director, we’re looking for someone who:
- Is rigorous; enjoys disagreement and debate when it is in service to getting to better work
- Is entrepreneurial; they embrace the opportunity to experiment and try new things and aren’t afraid to fail.
- Is committed to continuous learning; they are excited by new possibilities and love to dig into how tools/systems/platforms can be used to advance their client’s business.
